SuperClash 3 - Title unification

[edit]

Hello, the article currently reads This match was to unify the AWA and WCCW Titles. If I understood the DVD The Spectacular Legacy of the AWA correctly it was originally planned The King Lawler looses the title somewhen in the AWA-area, but since he wasn't paid (even by now) his salaries from the SuperClash 3 he never appeared on AWA programme, house shows or the like. The AWA wihout notifying him stripped the title from him and gave it to the winner of a Battle Royal. -- Bardnet 10:19, 8 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The titles were unified, the unification just didn't last long. This usually doesn't happen in wrestling, but happens a lot in boxing (they called titles unified just because one person holds both). TJ Spyke 02:17, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
