Is there a J2ME ?

as far as i can see, the Java 2 Micro Edition (J2ME) is now simply Java Micro Edition, or JME. that reflects Sun perception that now all Java is what was once called Java 2.

What is a "mote"?
[edit]Just ran across this article. At first I thought the "mote" was a typo, since none of the sources I could find for this subject use that word. The article on sensor node does use it, but not sure if it causes more confusion than it is worth here. Normally we do not use piped Wikilinks unless there is a very good reason, so will change back to use the normal English words. W Nowicki (talk) 18:04, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
