Hello,

I would like to request a external link to be added to this page. I believe that it will add to the content of the site and topic. Summit Entertainment is a movie studio that produces and distributes films comparable on a smaller scale to larger studios such as Paramount Studios or Warner Brothers. Therefore it has box office grosses and dates, after all, it is going to become more popular in the coming year, since it is the studio behind the Twilight movie, with more on the way. The link is a list of Summit Entertainment's top box office grosses and is updated when needed: ie. new box office releases, and grosses. Duplicate section

[edit]

Hi, as the List of Summit Entertainment films exists, why that section is a duplicate? ~2025-31216-40 (talk) 11:04, 5 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Well, someone added them which made the article exceed over 10,000 bytes with the edit summary "I added the filmography table so you don't have to click between the two separate pages.". FloorMadeOuttaFloor already removed them since there's already an article for it as it's unnecessary to include one. ~2025-31277-01 (talk) 02:19, 12 January 2026 (UTC)Reply

Someone appears to have re-added the list's sections without proper explanation, and honestly, I don't get the logic behind it... at all. The filmography list was likely created for the very purpose of housing massive amounts of information about the films made by (or involving) the studio so that it is far more convenient for a reader to comprehend and navigate; the list is also constantly expanding as new, verifiably sourced information is discovered about their involvement with additional films. However, to also include its sections on this page is a textbook example of a content fork (or even a redundant fork for that matter), defeating the entire purpose of the filmography list. Therefore, I feel it would be better to instead link the "Filmography" section to the list of Summit Entertainment films: if a reader has found the time to click on the Summit Entertainment page, they certainly also have the time to click on and browse through the list made for its films. This removal edit is better, as it adds a link to the filmography page that was missing after the previous deletion. Readers now have somewhere to go. Somewhen (talk) 10:11, 18 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
