Please give a reliable source for this assertion. While I'm such such programs out number remedial ones, but it is unlikey the small proportion of those go by the name summer school as opposed to day camp or similar out number the remedial programs getting called summer school. --Roguebfl (talk) 04:06, 26 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

US-centric

As is typical for many articles where there are huge differences around the world, this very US-centric, and where it isn't, it's anglocentric. "In North America" is, of course, "In the United States of America" (North America is Canada and Mexico). And "Rest of the World" (shows a strong US bias) only mentions the UK (hence anglocentric). Here in Germany, I've never heard of Summer School when I was a school student. jae (talk) 12:32, 21 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
