Defining summer by the weather
[edit]Sweden's meteorological bureau SMHI uses the following definition to define whether summer has arrived at a place: The average daily temperature must be 10°C or higher on 5 consecutive days. Then they state that summer arrived there on the first of those 5 days. https://www.smhi.se/kunskapsbanken/meteorologi/arstider/sommar Colin 't Hart (talk) 04:56, 1 September 2026 (UTC)
Finland https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Season#Meteorological and Norway https://norskportal.no/blogg/en/what-is-actually-summer-in-norway seem to use similar definitions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cthart (talk • contribs) 05:01, 1 September 2026 (UTC)
