Coexisted with Estemmenosuchus?

- Suminia is known from 268 million to 252 million years ago in the fossil record, Estemmenosuchus is known from 267 million years ago, hence they probably coexisted in the areas their fossils overlaps. Larrayal (talk) 00:16, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- I'm not entirely sure what's being asked here, as far as it relates to the article. The range of time reported for a fossil taxon usually represents uncertainty over the exact time when the species lived; it does not necessarily indicate they coexisted. Estemmenosuchus is known from the Ocher faunal subassemblage and Suminia is known from the Sokolki faunal assemblage; this suggests that the two did not coexist, as the two assemblages do not overlap in time.
