I am requesting this edit on behalf of Robert A. Ungaro, one of Sue Mingus’s children, and therefore disclose a conflict of interest.
The Personal life section presently states: “Together, they had two children.” Please revise it to read:
“Together, they had two children, Susanna and Roberto Ungaro.”
The JazzTimes obituary identifies both children:

Not done. Unless her children are notable themselves, this is not a necessary addition for the page. Heartmusic678 (talk) 19:30, 24 September 2026 (UTC)

I am Robert A. Ungaro, president of Jazz Workshop, Inc., and therefore disclose a conflict of interest.
The opening paragraph presently states that the Mingus Big Band “was managed by” Sue Mingus. Because Sue Mingus died in 2022, please replace that sentence with:
“The ensemble was managed by Mingus’s widow, Sue Mingus, until her death in 2022. Jazz Workshop, Inc., which oversees the Mingus repertory ensembles, currently identifies Robert Ungaro as president and Shannon Manning as director of operations.”

The first source confirms Sue Mingus’s death. The second identifies the organization’s current officers and responsibilities.

Comment: It appears like this request may be for the Mingus Big Band page. If so, you may want to move your request over to that talk page so it can be answered appropriately. Heartmusic678 (talk) 19:33, 24 September 2026 (UTC)
