Some possible points of improvement
[edit]- The name is usually spelled with one r even now. When it appears with two r's in English, it's usually in connection to modern times. So I guess the page should probably be moved.
- Maybe include some discussion on the etymology? If Platner is right, it derives from Sucusa, which isn't that implausible, an intervocalic -s- often changed to -r- like in -osom to -orum for example. But in that case I do wonder where the double rr in Italian suburra (slum) comes from.
- A map would be nice.
- The discussion on its cultural significance could be expanded a little, although the reference to Suburra (film) should probably be removed, as I think the title refers to the modern Italian word suburra rather than to the Latin district name Subura. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.61.180.106 (talk) 04:20, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
