Spelling "Dessicated"

[edit]

I was correcting the common mis-spelling of desiccated. Track 19 on this album is "Dessicated". Can someone confirm that this is the way it is spelt on the album, in which case it needs to stay as "Dessicated" MortimerCat 14:38, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

I just did the same, some 3 years later...  Chzz    21:21, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Couldn't find anything on the net to confirm/deny the spelling; various sites quote the title, but I strongly suspect that many come from Wikipedia itself; I've tagged the word as 'disputed'. Maybe in another 3 years we might get some answer; good job there is no deadline :-)  Chzz    21:35, 24 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I don't understand. On the album, which seems to me to be the _only_ correct source for this, it clearly reads "Dessicated". Mark in wiki (talk) 10:29, 31 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Back 5 years later to answer Mark - Chzz and myself do not have access to the album. We probably both tried searching for some other online reliable source but failed. You are right, the album itself is the definitive source and you have confirmed that the spelling should remain as dessicated, even if it appears with a red underline!
