Deleted reference stating Margolin played the biker character Snake on the series The Partridge Family. That role was played by Rob Reiner. 17:33, 16 November 2012 Jango Davis

TV History of Stuart Margolin

I saw a terriffic TV episode on Encore Westerns this past weekend of "Dead Man's Gun" where Stuart Margolin stars as a former boxer turned fight manager in the late 1800s old west. He was hard to recognize at first because of normal aging but his distinctive voice was still strong. He gave a great performance but sorry to say, this was not listed on his list of TV credits on your bio page for him. Could other roles also have been missed? Stuart Margolin should also be listed as a write of a 1969 TV movie titled "The Ballad of Andy Crocker". He was also the associate producer of this TV movie, along with Aaron Spelling and Danny Thomas. It was a memorable TV movie, and the movie had an interesting mixture of both actors and singers--Marvin Gaye, Bobby Hatfield, Jimmy Dean, Joey Heatherton, Agnes Moorehead, Lee Majors.

The Balad of Andy Croker is one of the reasons I looked up Stuart.

Truly a great actor for the length of time he was a regular on Rockford Files. Much is missing from Bio and Director projects and roles. One of my favorite Con cowards of the 70s and 80s.
