November 2025 article refresh
[edit]The two 2011 Maintenance Tags added (regarding BLP citations & possible Notability issues) have been rendered moot over the past 14 years, by both events and subsequent edits & additions to the article.
After his now-four-decade career on UK television, in addition to all the accolades & retrospective news articles/videos upon his 2020 "retirement" from BBC North West Tonight, saying Stuart Flinders lacks notability would be like one of us Yanks claiming Walter Conkrite wasn't "notable" after his 29 years at the anchor desk for CBS-TV News.
Subsequent to the 2011 tags, and what I would term a too-cautious 2024 deletion of archived BBC video footage (leaving at least 2 "Cite Needed" tags on details that were also covered by other 2020 print articles already cited), I updated those WP:RS news citations & replaced the CN tags with RefName cites.
The stale Maintenance Tags will go away after this Talk Page post is saved. — DennisDallas (talk) 21:58, 28 November 2025 (UTC)
