wrong title - rename to Structured types in SQL99, expand to other languages or merge with SQL99 and delete it

[edit]

Structured types are widely used in programming languages and a very old concept. I remember some text comparing Fortran IV and Pascal pointing that Pascal had structured types but Fortran not, and some trick to work around that to implement trees. They are older in the mathematical abstract world called mathematical structures.

This article only address structured types in SQL99. It is incomplete. Can SQL99 store a tree in a user defined structured type tree?

My suggestion is to either delete this entry moving its contents to the SQL99 entry or expand it with sections about structured types in different languages. In any case the actual content is too poor to deserve the right to be a Wikipedia article.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 2806:106E:B:22FC:D995:4145:AEBE:F6C2 (talk) 15:38, 29 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
