Primary topic?

[edit]

This article and the disambiguation page (Strict (disambiguation)) treat the topic of this article as a primary topic. Does this fairly obscure mathematical concept really meet the criteria to be the primary topic of "strict", a word that in the overwhelming majority of uses in the English language does not refer to this concept? Seems very unlikely to me, particularly when Restriction and Stricture don't have primary topics. I'd suggest moving the disambiguation page to Strict and moving this article to something like Strict (mathematics). – Scyrme (talk) 01:03, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Requested move

[edit]

This article is specifically about mathematics and the disambiguation page treats the article as a primary topic. This article should be moved to Strict (mathematics) and the current title should be an article about the English meaning. Strict primarily means demanding rules converning behavior are obeyed and observed. Aitraintheeditorandgamer (talk) 10:24, 18 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
