  • This shouldn't be controversial. 8 Eye's defense; game itself still uses it, as do ports. The American material is mostly a trainwreck anyway, so let's try to go for some consistency here. Despatche (talk) 13:38, 28 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Survey

  • Oppose - WP:MOSTM clearly states that we should "avoid using special characters that are not pronounced, are included purely for decoration. In the article about a trademark, it is acceptable to use decorative characters the first time the trademark appears, but thereafter, an alternative that follows the standard rules of punctuation should be used" Salvidrim! 13:15, 27 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

The aspect ratio of the in-game image is misleading

[edit]

The in-game image used on the article is in the aspect ratio of the native resolution output by the CPS-1 board (384 x 224), not the native resolution the game was displayed in and designed to be displayed in (4:3).

CRTs didn't enforce square pixels, but instead enforced the resolution of the monitor, which was 4:3 for the monitors in arcade machines of the era.

The image should be changed to a 4:3 image. JCWHenwood (talk) 06:21, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
