I agree with User:Asqueladd this article has to be resplit regarding the Madrid snowstorm. It was the largest snowfall in Madrid for over a century. There is enough material in Madrid for an article 5 times as long as the one discussing effects elsewhere. There is also precedent on Wikipedia with Hurricane Katrina and Effects of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. I think User:MarioJump83 you have been hasty in merging these two articles. Statements attributed to AEMET article are wrong
[edit]The article states: "By then, the coldest temperature ever recorded in Iberia was registered at Torremocha de Jiloca, in the Teruel, at −26.5 °C" and cites an article on AEMET. This article does not show this. It states that the low temperature at Torremocha de Jiloca was on the 12th, not the 7th, and that other temperatures were recorded below -30 C. It also does not say anywhere that this is the "coldest temperature ever recorded in Iberia", only a standout among cold temperatures during this event. MFdeS (talk) 01:58, 15 September 2025 (UTC)
