Mixing current and future product specifications
[edit]A small caution about StoreDot press releases, they have a tendency to talk about several products in the same breath, mixing their specifications: Carla Westerheide (April 4, 2024), "StoreDot achieves 2,000 fast-charging cycles with XFC cells", Electdrive, PR Newswire
You can see they're talking about 2000 charge cycles and a charging rate of 270kW for some future product, while at the same time mentioning the upcoming product, not making it clear which specification belongs to which. Please discuss such matters here, it's against policy to immediately escalate without discussion. HueSurname (talk) 07:14, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
Promotional language
[edit]I guess we're doing this again. The following is promotional language and peacock terms:
- "StoreDot’s Extreme Fast Charging (XFC) technology" - buzzwords. 350kW charging is part of the CCS standard. Don't use StoreDot's buzzwords to describe it. There are, in fact, cars that charge at 350kW right now and they don't use the "XFC" buzzword.
- "in just 10 minutes" - "just" is a peacock term.
