Harvey's death & later activties

[edit]

A few things I'd like to mention.....

Firstly, I thought Leslie Harvey died at Swansea's Brangwyn Hall, though my opinion is based on what I read in the music press of the day, which was over 40 years ago.

Shortly after Harvey died, Stone the Crows (StC) were booked to appear at a festival somewhere (don't recall where). They still wanted to play the gig, and fished around for a replacement. At one point, they approached Peter Green (ex-Fleetwood Mac), who tentatively said yes, but a few days later said no and promptly disappeared. However, StC successfully recruited Steve Howe, of Yes, who played the gig and was warmly received.

Surely Maggie Bell's greatest post-StC activity was as the singer to the theme of ITV's crime drama "Taggart"?
