Difference to Physical inventory

Merger proposal

- I think that they are sufficiently separate terminology. Stock-taking is periodic while inventory control is ongoing. The intro sentence on the inventory control page is a little misleading. It should be replaced with some of the information from lower on the page.--TDJankins (talk) 08:13, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Cutoff Procedure Forms
[edit]Does anyone find the cutoff procedure forms helpful or believe they are appropriate to this article? They appear to relate to goods receipt and dispatch, not to the exercise of checking what inventory is being held at a point in time. Merger to Physical inventory

Merge completed, rather simply, on the assumption that one could draw a distinction between a physical inventory and other forms of stock-taking. Klbrain (talk) 19:25, 9 August 2025 (UTC)
