Sticking coefficients are often mentioned in articles on thin film growth or surface science. The term is not commonly defined within these papers and furthermore, is relatively unknown outside of these fields. Other engineers and scientists may be puzzled by it. I have added as a link in the article on the Langmuir --the rate of monolayer coverage-- which uses it but does not define it.Brettstrawbridge 21:12, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Brett Strawbridge

- Yes, I believe now that it should be transferred to Wiktionary, and I have put that template on the article. It clearly qualifies for an entry there, since it has approximately 694,000 items containing it found from a Google search.149.169.42.207 00:25, 18 September 2007 (UTC)Brett Strawbridge
