The reference provided to support the claim that the machine was developed between 1676 and 1694 doesn't appear to explicitly give a completion date of 1694. It claims that Leibniz lived in Paris to work with a mechanic between 1676 and 1694, but it later goes on to say that there is in fact no proof that a working machine was ever completed. Does anyone know of another source that supports if and when the machine was completed? Everybody knows this is nowhere (talk) 06:30, 11 January 2016 (UTC)

Quote accuracy?
[edit]I think this quote is dubious: "It is beneath the dignity of excellent men to waste their time in calculation when any peasant could do the work just as accurately with the aid of a machine." It comes from a book from the 1930s. I'm unable to trace it back further. Does anyone have a better source? If not, I think it should be at the very least marked as "attributed to".
