Justification for the tag in the lead

The reason I added the tag is because one of the books cited here says a lot more about the history and founding of the institution.

Yes I get that this is an encyclopedia. But this article doesn’t say why did it change from a Columbia Female Academy to The Columbia Female Baptist Academy. I did a quick read through one of the books cited here and it appears that CFA and CFBA weren’t exactly the same thing.

Just saying this is literally one of the oldest female only colleges in America and the first higher education institution in the Columbia. We should say more than just a few sentences.CycoMa2 (talk) 02:34, 8 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
