He claims that his father always wanted to be "Kohl-Bear," but I'm not finding any source for that other than Colbert himself. If you want to change your name for vain reasons, it's certainly easy to attribute it on your deceased father. Are there any sources for his father's alleged desire other than Colbert's assertion? Requested style fix

From the 2008 Presidential Campaign section:

He received a what? Well, I know what a Peabody Award is, and you may too—but suppose we take pity on the average reader and spell out the award's proper name and make it a link to its WP page?
