La Stelsimbolo

[edit]

The spesmilo has a symbol, but does the stelo? Novjunulo (talk) 12:06, 13 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ending

[edit]

"The Universal League remained in existence, but in the Esperanto world its significance declined. After they had placed his obituary in the periodical Esperanto, many of his colleagues died as well" - I don't understand at all. Whose obituary? The real causes of the League's decline and fall aren't even described. Feanfox (talk) 15:13, 4 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Motto

[edit]

The reverse of the premio-kupono has a motto, beginning Ni ĵuris labori, ni ĵuris batali por reunuig[i l'homaron] ; apparently this is from Zamenhof's Preĝo sub la Verda Standardo. Worth mentioning? —Tamfang (talk) 00:26, 26 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stelo's Value

[edit]

Why not peg 10 Steloj to 1 man-hour of labor, since time itself is immune from political interference? It would mean a minimum wage rate of 10 Steloj an hour = 80 Steloj / d = 1 Stelo earned for 6 minutes of labor. Then with Steloj acting similar to modern Keyne's "BANCOR" or IMF's "Special Drawing Rights", local money can be converted into, and from, Stelo. 174.243.176.55 (talk) 15:03, 19 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Section "Founding of the Universal League" may be AI-generated

[edit]

This section may have been written using AI, as evidenced by "a group of faithful Esperantists", "help save mankind from 'world catastrophe'", and "an express wish of the now-deceased Zamenhof and of Esperantists from many different lands [...] was coming to fruition". Further, the entire section lacks even a single reference! Can someone verify that this is AI or not? If not, some references would definitely be sorely needed here.
