Origin?

Proposed merge with Graph literacy
[edit]Graphs as described herein are not distinct from having an understanding of statistics. Graphs form a useful too for trends in statistics but are not a substitute for tabular data; any student who has passed even an elementary statistics course can tell you this. Thus to be literate in reading graphs, presupposes there is literacy in matters of statistics. Consequently literacy in reading graphs is not a topic onto itself but a byproduct of statistical literacy, and therefore not sufficient to merit its own article.
