I wanted to edit the main introductory paragraph but could not work out how to. After the first sentence I would add the sentences: "Social and cultural matters are the human activities thought to be influencing the state of the environment, including activities impacts and responses. The relevance of these human aspects to the state of the environment is the basis for the Pressure-State-Response model outlined below." AlisterClark (talk) 23:22, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
