Potential additions to the list

Scope of list

[edit]

As the list of state coaches grows (39? currently), I have realized it could too easily expand out of control. The list should be limited to those carriages that exist today—either in museums or still in use by their states. Historical photos of long-gone state coaches should not be included, though if there is sufficient content, and it's interesting, I can imagine a new list being created.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 03:05, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

Merged Gold coach to here

[edit]

I have merged Gold coachState coach.

Reasoning: All gilded coaches are state coaches. The Gold coach article was small and duplicated some material in State coach. Some of the information was out of date (e.g. Dutch Gold Coach is no longer in use). Only one of the coaches in Gold coach didn't already exist in State coach, which I remedied.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 07:04, 21 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
