Isn't this rather an opinionated statement: "Starfish developed much of the core intellectual property and patents for device synchronization, especially in the wireless industry."? I'm sure the companies formerly known as Extended Systems or Intellisync/Pumatech, as well as FusionOne and others, might disagree.

In addition, since Nokia purchased Intellisync/Pumatech in it's entirety (and most of what it used/sold was its own software, rather than the purchased Starfish software), isn't some of that likely to be involved in Nokia's solutions as well? (Pure speculation, mind you). Dgc03052 (talk) 16:56, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Right, only information paraphrased from cited sources in neutral language should be allowed. Companies of course (and their executives!) exaggerate their accomplishments. On the other hand, editors should not add content based on their own speculation either. W Nowicki (talk) 20:38, 26 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

I just wanted to add that I wish sources could be found to confirm that this company Starfish Software once developed a very nice contact management system. I was a user, but I can't remember its name (other than Starfish), but it was one of the best contact management systems I ever used. I didn't add this info to the article because I have no source other than memory. Thanks. Fallendarlin (talk) 18:41, 12 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
