• The "look at the skyline. look at the shoreline" clip has been popping up on my timeline again and again today... Anyways, yes, it's over our size requirement now and more effort has probably already gone into developing the article than was put into making the album. Very interesting hook that appears in the article and there are inline citations wherever required. No copyvios and created and nominated in time. QPQ not required. Good to go. Just keep an eye out for some unsourced singles some people keep adding, which I have just removed.--NØ 10:56, 14 August 2026 (UTC)

Fantano

So several days ago I saw that a Fantano review was added with a primary YouTube source. This usually shouldn't be done per WP:FANTANO, unless the review itself is notable enough to be mentioned by another source. I still thought his "Not Music" score was rare and peculiar and, wouldn't you know that, I found a source that mentions Fantano's review.

Translation:

On August 14, music critic Anthony Fantano released a review of $TARFACE. Instead of a usual rating, he gave the album a score of "Not Music".

While the source isn't on WP:RSP or WP:A/S, it is not a blog and has an author named "Kosovan". This, in my opinion, satisfies the condition of WP:FANTANO of being mentioned by a secondary source, meaning that the info has a place in the article. Yes, I believe Fantano can be cited as it is not undue weight for this article, per WP:FANTANO. It is important to note that Fantano reviews have been used in some articles that have been even promoted to GA, such as E (Ecco2k album). I believe for albums that have not received many reviews from traditional publications (which is the case here), there is no problem with citing Fantano. Skyshiftertalk 22:37, 16 August 2026 (UTC)

I removed Forklog citation. Also I don't strongly believe Fantano is a professional reviewer, so I removed his review from the {{Music ratings}} template. I have not yet cleared the prose by the way Camilasdandelions (✉️) 23:25, 18 August 2026 (UTC)

WP:FANTANO states: "There is currently rough consensus that Fantano is considered to be an established subject-matter expert as it pertains to music reviews and that these reviews may be used in an article as attributed opinion." Skyshiftertalk 23:56, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
