The link contained in this page for "Sir Robert Staples, 4th Baronet (died 1714)" links back to itself, to this page.

I'm very new to Wikipedia editing so I don't know all the minutiae of whether this is considered an issue from an editor standpoint, but as a reader it seems like a mistake. The fact that it's blue indicates to the reader that this link will take them to a new page, so when it takes them to the page they're already on, it seems wrong.

To me, it seems like this link should be red but I don't know how to actually make that happen, because as I said, I'm new to Wikipedia editing and don't know how any of the markdown formatting works. Optimisms (talk) 01:08, 8 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
