Categories

Hello y'all! I have noticed in the categories it says that Stan Musial is from both STL and Donora, PN. He isn't from St Louis. He only moved to STL when he was signed. So can somebody that is good with Wikipedia get rid of the categories that say "Sportspeople from STL county" and "Baseball players from St. Louis"? "Stan the Man" redirects here and not the Stan Lee page?

I think just about everyone thinks of Stan Lee when they hear the words "Stan the Man", not some random baseball player.

Comic books are known the world over. Baseball is pretty much only known in the United States.

This is even truer nowadays, when the MCU, the Sonyverse and the Spider-Verse have given a massive boost to Stan Lee's posthumous popularity.

And really, what has this baseball player accomplished that can be greater than creating Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, the Hulk and the Fantastic Four?

Bottom line: it makes no sense that THIS is the page that comes up when you type "Stan the Man" in the search box. Agustinaldo (talk) 23:54, 24 December 2025 (UTC)
