The standard naming in NZ is to abbreviate the name: St Bathans. The name "Saint Bathans" is not an official name on the NZ Gazetteer of Place Names, but nearby St Bathans Hall Historic Reserve and St Bathans Recreation Reserve are official names. The spelling "St Bathans" is used by Te Ara, Heritage NZ, and the NZ topographic maps. It's spelled three different ways on the page; I've just standardised them to St Bathans. Unless anyone can come up with evidence that "Saint Bathans" is the prevailing usage in current reliable published sources, I'll move the page. —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 09:20, 28 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
