This article could use an animated gif picture or just a usual picture do make it easier to understand. This article could tell you which muscles groups are being worked.

The comment "it is better to do several sets with few reps" needs to be better supported. The following comment "such as with every exercise" is overly general, likely inaccurate, and should be removed, rephrased, and/or supported with references. I've de-merged this article from burpee (exercise); the squat thrust is a distinct exercise in its own right, and the use of the term "burpee" for a simple squat thrust is a misnomer. -- The Anome (talk) 08:27, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
