Table needed minor correction

Working on Improving this Stub for a School Assignment

I'm a grad school student & I have an assignment to significantly improve an article. I found the Spring Triangle interesting, so I am going to work diligently to make this article better.

I am new to Wiki editing, so if anyone has any suggestions or improvements, please let me know! CadenLa4 (talk) 21:31, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

One obvious omission is that only two stars of the triangle have descriptions in this article. The other one, of perhaps two, could have a paragraph. Then I'm not sure what else there is to say. Much of what is already written about the two stars duplicates the articles about those stars and probably doesn't need to be repeated here. Some cultural references would be good; at the moment I don't see any reliable sources to support that this is even "a thing". The one reference about a spring triangle describes a different one from the article. Lithopsian (talk) 15:15, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

Ah, I see. You just added the two sections about stars. Oops! I suggest trimming them to a summary of the most important points, and adding hatnotes (see {{main}}) indicating that there is an article dedicated to that subject. Lithopsian (talk) 15:19, 12 March 2023 (UTC)

My own spring triangle

I was today years old when I learned of the canonical spring triangle that is the subject of this article. I have casually referred to another asterism as "the spring triangle," this being a visually nearly equilateral triangle with Arcturus, γ Boo, and Alphecca as the corners, with Izar as the center point. Over the years, and still, I sometimes stare at that triangle for hours on end during evenings in the springtime. N8chz (talk) 15:06, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
