Do what's right for readers or what's right for Wikipedia?
[edit]The ice protocol is widely considered outdated and there was never really any evidence. The studies supporting it was flawed. However it's just some people can't handle the pain so why painkillers and ice are recommended by majority of RS. Tho they don't say it's largely to reduce pain and not to speed up healing. Instead they give the opposite impression without proof. So I am conflicted on what to say for treatment of soft tissue. The mainstream advice among many RS is still rice and Wikipedia follows those mainstream sources. But there are also RS cautioning against such baseless methods. I decided to add both in but emphasising that icing was the historic method but experts do not recommend doing it and giving their reasoning, and giving more bias to them.
