New actor

The main image on this page needs to be replaced with a picture of the new actor on Star Trek discovery. He is the current and ongoing iteration of the character and he is much more relevant in the modern setting and understanding of the character than the original actor. Just as Daniel Craig is the face of Bond it's about this time page got with the time.

I disagree, Leonard Nimoy as Spock is iconic and best exemplifies the character. I take your point about Bond (despite your unintelligible last sentence) but that character has from the very beginning been portrayed by a precession of actors. 90.249.0.171 (talk) 16:46, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I am sorry, but I am NOT for having this name trivia and non-canon comments in the opening lead of this article. Even as a note, a reader is tempted to click on it in their first sentence of reading the article. This trivia and non-canon reference doesn't deserve so much WEIGHT in this article. I've already reverted it once, and now it is being placed in again as a note, so I am opening a Talk page discussion on it. StarHOG (Talk) 12:21, 21 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

Do you think Spock is hypothetically more human then we think? If I'm correct in Star Trek: the journey home we get the following dialogue.

Spock: humans make illogical decisions.

Spock's mother: they do indeed.
