International waters
[edit]Hate to turn this into something, but could you please briefly explain why "international waters" is better? The whole area around Split is about as deep into (island-expanded) territorial waters as it gets. There are international waters relatively close some ways to the west, but the quickest way from them is between Ciovo and Solta... The Gates are actually the quickest route if you're going towards the south (e.g. the islands, Vis, Hvar..), and in that direction we touch with Italian territorial waters. It strikes me as rather a strange edit? -- Director (talk) 23:21, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
