Pronunciation of Spiro
[edit]Would it be possible to give the IPA for this name, e.g. how is it pronunced in American English, in German, in Greek? For American English, one can find /spiro/ (speero) and /spairo/ (spie-ro). How would the name of Melford Elliot Spiro, the famous American anthropologist?
