Release date

[edit]

About this edit, the Allmusic, DeadDisc, and Montserrat Review references all indicate a release date of January 2000, with Allmusic specifying January 25, 2000. For changing the article to say that the album was released on May 25, 1999, we would want one or more reliable references backing that up. Also, it doesn't make sense that the album was recorded on May 21, 1999, and released on May 25, 1999. Besides the fact that it probably took more than one day to record the album, it's not really feasible to release a CD four days after it was recorded. It takes weeks or months for something like that to happen. So, I'm putting the article back the way it was. The editor who made those changes, or any other editors, are encouraged to post here with their thoughts on this subject. Mudwater (Talk) 02:10, 15 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

On the other hand, the album's Spotify page (which normally contains release date, etc. information from the record labels) states May 1999. Could it be WP:Citogenesis or something else? wizzito | say hello! 08:37, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
Here's another reference for the January 25, 2000 date -- Mickey Hart's official website. So, yes, I'm putting that date back into the article. Mudwater (Talk) 10:37, 4 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
