Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Similar to Spin^c, please add to the lead for a non-expert

@Ldm1954 I finally rewrote the introduction by adding a few more details as well as explanations and also removed the template. I hope it's fine now, but of course add it again if it's not. Thanks for your help! Samuel Adrian Antz (talk) 17:05, 25 December 2025 (UTC)Reply

The bijection regarding BSpin^h(M) is not true.

[edit]

HP^infty and K(Z,4) have equivalent rationalizations, yes, but that does not mean [M, HP^infty] = [M, K(Q,4)] (why would it?). Deleting this for now. ~2025-32810-37 (talk) 22:53, 13 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

@~2025-32810-37 Thanks for doing this; you're completely right! I was thinking about 4-manifolds when writing this, where it is indeed true according to Freed and Uhlenbeck's Instantons and Four-Manifolds. I might add it again for that situation, but this time only when I find another reference for it, which specifically deals with spinʰ structures.
