You are probably correct; however, the cause of the problem is the image in Wikimedia Commons is IDed very explicitly as Spilomicrus stigmaticalis. Commenting here will do no good. What you need to do is (in an ideal situation): (1) see if you can contact the photographer, and get them to voluntarily change the ID on the image. IF that is not an option, THEN (2) manually make the necessary changes to the image file in the Wikimedia Commons, including its keywords and categories. This also means changing the name of the photo, which you must request from an admin via the "request to rename" interface. That image has a LOT of traction, including in the Wikidata database, it'll take time to get it to be removed from the various places it appears. Dyanega (talk) 21:44, 24 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
