Keep The film is very important in Malayalam cinema, because the lead role of the film was supposed to be played by action star Jayan, who died in an accident on the set of the movie Kolilakkam. Jayan's role was later played by Sukumaran. Similarly, the future star of Malayalam films, Mammootty was penciled in and his name was Sajin (Mammootty) in the title card of the film.
