What does the Klein bottle have to do with this sphericon thing? I don't see any non-orientability or inside=outside kind of phenomenon here.--137.82.36.218 (talk) 22:16, 13 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

The sphericon is the case n=4, k=1 of what you get when you

  • start with the surface of revolution of a regular n-polygon;
  • cut it in half through the revolution axis;
  • rotate one of the pieces relative to the other by k/n turn;
  • glue them back together.

I am surprised not to see mention of the other cases. Is there a distinct word for them? —Tamfang (talk) 09:31, 8 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
