As far as I can tell, the claim that Bill James first presented Speed Score in the 1987 edition of the Baseball Abstract is unfounded.[1] So when was it introduced?

With the Wayback Machine I was able to see that it was at least in the appendix of the 1987 Abstract. I'd still like to be able to see the actual text, though  Preceding unsigned comment added by Tkbrett (talkcontribs) 21:34, 11 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
