Formula is wrong

[edit]

According to https://ccrma.stanford.edu/~unjung/AIR/areaExam.pdf, and the german wikipedia this formula is wrong. The notation of x(n) should read instead X(k), thus making the weighting more reasonable that with the time-domain signal x(n). I will be collcting references to change it.SinPantuflas (talk) 15:10, 15 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Usage of bin

[edit]

Great, concise little article, but could someone help me clarify the usage of the word bin here? Is it a concept implied by the summation process used in practical signal processing applications... or am I just missing something? /ninly(talk) 00:39, 24 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

It's the same idea as in a histogram - I've added a link --mcld (talk) 10:29, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

the relationship between f0 and the spectral centroid.

[edit]

I was wondering if there's any relationship between spectral f0 and centroid of a polyharmonic signal.  Preceding unsigned comment added by CapTenSpark (talkcontribs) 06:28, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
