Primate place cells
[edit]I removed the claim that place cells are not found in primates. Ekstrom et al. (2003) (PMID: 12968182) reported place cells in in vivo hippocampal recordings from humans in a virtual navigation task. They also found spatial view cells, but found those primarily in the parahippocampal region. digfarenough (talk) 19:27, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
