Founding year
[edit]The company founding year is a bit confused; perhaps by mistake or translation error from Chinese sources.
This source says the company was founded in 2019, while the article text currently states it was founded in 2015 based on the SpaceNews source at refname sn20200414. I'm honestly not sure which year is correct. Cheers. N2e (talk) 21:43, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
Should we keep the Launches table here
[edit]Should we keep the Launches table here ? It only covers tianlong-2 & 3 and leaves out tianlong-1. tianlong-2 & 3 have their own articles with table of launches (possibly more up to date than the combined one here). [Two of the planned launches were for 2024] Could leave as is, split this table into 2 & 3, or merge details from this table into t-2 & t-3 & delete from here. I propose the later (merge & remove). - Rod57 (talk) 08:59, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
Could put launch summary here
[edit]Launch summary could be a bar chart of configurations 1/2/3 launched by year. - Rod57 (talk) 08:59, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
What happened to Tianlong-1 - it never launched.
[edit]What happened to Tianlong-1 - it never launched. Was it just renamed Tianlong-2 (with a smaller payload) ?
What stages and engines were planned for Tianlong-1 ? - Rod57 (talk) 09:18, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
- Looks like T-1 used bought in engines (and was abandoned), but T-2 uses in-house developed engines. - Rod57 (talk) 10:08, 20 August 2025 (UTC)
