Source Filmmaker (software)Source Filmmaker – The target page is a redirect leading to this one. And seeing as there's no other Source Filmmaker articles, specificity isn't an issue. Honestly, there's really no reason not to. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Well, the only reason I made the title longer was because the original redirect linked right back to the Source engine page section of the same name. :/ —017Bluefield (talk) 23:53, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
Well, go ahead. No harm done. —017Bluefield (talk)
I'd like to, but the page refuses to let me due to revisions made to the redirect page. I'm going to need an admin's help. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 00:07, 22 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay, now we've gotta delete the redirect. —017Bluefield (talk) 23:07, 23 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

SFM in Video games category?

[edit]

I know it works inside the Source game engine, but does that really make the SFM a video game? According to the Steam website, it's under the Software category. —017Bluefield (talk) 04:56, 24 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Community-made films section

[edit]

The list of community-made films is incomplete; there are much, much more than that. We would either have to somehow update the list every time a new film is made, only list the notable films (award-winning, featured), or just delete the section completely. Goatcheese3 (talk) 11:53, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Option #2: Notable (usually, as you said, "featured" in SourceFilmMaker's Community Spotlight playlist). -017Bluefield (talk) 18:48, 14 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Does not sound like an ad

[edit]

I don't find it sounds particularly like an ad, it sounds like a comprehensive overview of the software. If anyone could point out which parts sound like an ad, that would be great. If not, I'm deleting the part from the improvement needed box. MarinaTheRanger (talk) 19:28, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Source 2 Filmmaker

[edit]

There's quite a discrepancy about the actual releases of Source Filmmaker. I think there is some confusion to this, as the 2020 Preview in the infobox is actually for Source 2 Filmmaker, released with Half-Life: Alyx, which is mentioned in the article but not reflected in the infobox. That version has also been updated more recently, its' latest release in HL:A was in 2022, and IIRC CS2 has it even newer. Please either combine Source 2 Filmmaker into this article, or show the last release of the original SFM and remove the preview release section in the infobox.
