Request to reconsider redirect soundcore

[edit]

Hi,

I noticed that soundcore is currently redirected to Anker Innovations. Just wanted to raise the point that the brand seems to have quite a bit of independent coverage — for example in outlets like The Verge, CNET, TechRadar, and Forbes. These aren’t just passing mentions but full reviews and articles about soundcore products.

Per [WP:BRAND], sub-brands sometimes get their own page when there’s enough secondary coverage and recognition. Other examples would be Beats (Apple) or JBL (Harman), which are also owned by larger companies but still notable enough on their own.

Given the amount of independent writing on soundcore’s headphones, speakers, and sleep earbuds, I think there’s at least a case for having a separate article instead of just a redirect. Maybe starting a draft would be a good first step, so sources can be gathered in one place and editors can decide if it meets notability.

Curious what others think.
