Cleaning Up SDVX

[edit]

I love Sound Voltex but this article is WAAAY too long. The average person really does not need all this detail. I am not by any means an experienced editor so I'm not sure what parts of this should be split into another article and which should just be cut. Would love some assistance on this. Should we break up the various versions of SDVX into separate articles

[edit]

Should we include them in the main article or as separate articles. Because technically they are different games, but they are so similar that i don't think we should make them separate. SodaSoummelier (talk) 03:58, 10 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Adding details about the generator/generator mode?

[edit]

When I was a new player, I could find little to no details about the generator mechanic, or even about appeal cards in general. I think we should add a section for this, even if it’s just a brief summary. Even when I was new to the game, I still wanted to collect the cards, but I didn’t know how to get them until I had a friend explain to me. This would be helpful for new players, so please consider! 98.186.46.18 (talk) 03:49, 20 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Rewrite upcoming

[edit]

I am working on a rewrite of this article in my sandbox. Hopefully it will address the concerns raised here while not including all the unsourced cruft that was previously deleted. Feel free to review if you wish. Reconrabbit 02:13, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

I think I gave up on this. Below: new version was announced at JAEXPO 2025. -- Reconrabbit 18:06, 17 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

just wanted to make an edit that they announced sdvx 7: aka sdvx nabla.

[edit]

i made an edit and made sure it was factual, but the release date is yet to be announced, to be honest it's kind of rough, but if you wanna change it, then sure. Holdmyapplejuice (talk) 15:15, 16 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Yo Reconrabbit thanks for editing my SDVX new version edit!

[edit]

Honestly love the wording a lot better, not gonna lie looks a lot better than mine does. A lot more professional! Thank you! Mine was initially quite crude. Holdmyapplejuice (talk) 01:15, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. It turns out Arcade Heroes is not a very good source. I could not find anything else about Konami's showing at JAEXPO 2025 though. If you can find that (outside of social media/namu/remywiki) please add it. -- Reconrabbit 15:35, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
there is the SDVX staff tweet. Holdmyapplejuice (talk) 15:52, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
It's still social media. -- Reconrabbit 17:12, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Fair enough, makes sense, BEMANI/konami does have a news site anyway. Holdmyapplejuice (talk) 18:10, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
