Kelvin's notability as a companion for inclusion in Reception

Kelvin has become popular in the community surrounding the game, and four sources (two of which are currently used in Gameplay) comment about this, particularly about players being protective of him despite lackluster/sometimes unhelpful behavior. Virginia, the other NPC companion, is not nearly as highly regarded.
